Welcome to my campaign website. I am a candidate for the Las Vegas Municipal Court Judge position in Department 5. In addition to my legal career, I proudly fulfill various roles, including that of a mother, wife, attorney, caregiver, educator, Scout volunteer, and problem solver, among others.
- Over 22 years of experience as a licensed attorney.
- Appointed as a Hearing Commissioner in the Las Vegas Municipal Court in 2018, serving for five years.
- Instrumental in creating two programs as a Hearing Commissioner: Fresh Start Traffic and Fresh Start Specialty Court.
- Since 2017, presided over more than 100 hearings (trials) in Las Vegas Municipal Court in roles such as Alternate Judge, Interim Municipal Court Judge, and Hearing Commissioner.
- Co-founded the First-Year Attorney/Student Mentoring Program at UNLV’s Boyd School of Law in 2008 and participated annually through 2013.
- Active volunteer roles with Scouts BSA: Pack Committee Member since 2022, Troop Committee Chair since 2023, and Merit Badge Counselor for several merit badges.
- Extensive record of community and professional volunteer work prior to 2022.
- Married for 18 years to a retired Veteran and Metro Police Officer and mother to two sons.
